An Engaging Party

As promised, here is the menu I served at the engagement party I catered over the weekend. It was such a festive evening! While sipping ice cold drinks on the outdoor, flower festooned deck, guests relished with abandon the unusual appetizers and when dusk approached, everyone mingled inside and filled their plates with Crabmeat Salad, Corn Pudding, Two Color Summer Tomatoes and Ham on Biscuits, a menu so representative of the summer season, precisely as the host and I planned. Plates were brimming with color and the glow from the candle light illuminated the faces of the beautiful people brought together to celebrate this wonderful union. While throwing back cold Peach Shooters and popping bite size morsels of sweetness, everybody gathered to toast the soon-to-be bride and groom and reminisced their courtship.
