It’s Your Handprint That Counts

Footprints as in carbon footprints (the amount of carbon (CO2) we emit) measure our environmental impact on the planet. These environmental impacts include so much of what we do in our daily round, like turning on the computer, buying packaged food and boarding an airplane. Conversely handprints are the actions we take to reduce the carbon load like planting trees, composting and sourcing local food.

It’s simply about practicing an overall awareness of conservation not consumerism. Handprints are the sum of all the reductions we make with our footprints. Make everyday Earth Day and be mindful about how you can reduce the carbon footprint and increase the benefit of your handprint. Together if we empower the handprint, we can help to heal the planet!
