We're hosting a Colorful Plate Party this coming weekend. It's all in an effort to celebrate the end of the summer's harvest. Well almost, many of the foods still have a few more weeks until the forthcoming slumbering (albeit growing) harvest starts submerging! So Mr. Fabulous and I will be testing several colorful combinations this week.
Last night we made steak fajitas. I topped them with black beans, garden-fresh tomatoes, shredded purple cabbage, just-from-the-cob corn, shredded lettuce and sour cream. So satisfied with the flavor (and the colors were so vibrant and inviting) we had them again for lunch today.
Be sure to check back throughout the week for more ideas on how to use summer's beautiful, colorful bounty.
Do you have any colorful food combinations you want to share?
